IMPACT Manual

The IMPACT manual is a comprehensive 69-page how-to guide based on the intervention manual used in the original study.

Combined with the Problem-Solving Treatment (PST) manual, it provides detailed information about the clinical application of IMPACT. Sample topics included in the manual are:

IMPACT Care Management Videos

We developed several video clips to demonstrate key IMPACT skills discussed in the manual. These videos are included in the online training program and are repeated here for easy reference. The length of each video is indicated on the button. Depending on the speed of your internet connection and the length of the video, it may take a couple of minutes for the video to load.

Specific medications mentioned in the videos are intended as illustrative examples only and are not intended as a recommendation or endorsement of any specific medication. In clinical trials, all FDA-approved antidepressants have similar efficacy, providing adequate symptom relief for about half of all patients. This is why it is important to make treatment changes, including changing to a new antidepressant medication, if the patient is not sufficiently improved within 10 to 12 weeks. IMPACT does not receive financial support from any pharmaceutical manufacturer or distributor.
