1. Center staff are available for consultation on a wide variety of topics.
2. We can connect you with a consultant who is an expert in implementing IMPACT and can provide training and support in a number of different areas inlcuding evidence-based interventions.

Program evaluation

Program evaluation can be a valuable tool when convinving yourself and others in your organization that you are getting desired results when implementing a quality improvement program like IMPACT. To date, two program evaluations have been completed by organizations that adapted and implemented IMPACT. In each case, the organization made adaptations to fit the IMPACT program to their clinical environment based on program evaluation outcomes. Other program evaluations are underway and preliminary data suggests that the program continues to be effective even in low income vulnerable populations with depression and diabetes.

Both evaluations showed that these organizations were able to achieve the same improvements in depression as in the original research study. As a result, one expanded their IMPACT program to include adults of all ages. In another, positive results prompted Kaiser Permanente of Southern California to expand the program from two clinics in San Diego to their entire region serving over 3 million people.
